BCI Engineers and Scientists

BCI, in coordination with Glatting Jackson Kercher Anglin, Inc., was hired by the City of Lakeland to design a boardwalk for Lake Bonny Park.

BCI performed a topographic survey to determine location and size of trees, lake bottom elevations, current water elevation, site improvements and shoreline characteristics. Construction plans were based upon the conceptual layout prepared by Glatting Jackson.

BCI conducted SPT borings and provided a pile design for the proposed boardwalk. We also prepared preliminary construction plans at 60 percent and final construction plans at 100 percent, and attended review meetings with the City and Glatting Jackson.

In addition, permit documentation and site improvements were prepared for the boardwalk as well as for the delineated wetland area was prepared for the City and the Southwest Florida Water Management District.
