Scope

BCI was retained by the City of Stuart to develop and implement a revitalization plan of the downtown area of the city. The project was funded by Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) monies. In addition to assisting with the CDBG funding, BCI designed various streetscapes and traffic optimization elements and provided community involvement programs and public education. 


The project included:

• Downtown streetscape and hardscape
• New parking both on and off the street
• Landscape islands
• Stained concrete sidewalks
• Brick paver crosswalks
• Enhanced lighting
• Xeriscape landscaping
• ADA Pedestrian Amenities
• CDBG Funding
