First National Bank | Flint, Michigan | 2007 - 2007
BCI performed a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) for First National Bank at a commercial property in Flint, Michigan. BCI performed the site inspection to determine whether site conditions and/or surrounding sites possessed potential environmental liabilities, to assess potential issues related to adjacent properties, and to determine if these issues would adversely impact the subject properties. A detailed assessment report summarizing the findings was prepared for the bank. First National Bank uses BCI’s reports as a basis for providing business loans to their customers.
The Phase I ESA identified recognized environmental conditions (RECs) including a neighboring paint stripping facility directly east of the subject property. BCI recommended and completed a Phase II ESA. Impacts were not encountered as a result of the RECs identified, so no further action was recommended and the bank provided the loan to this client.
