Scope
 The Southwest Florida Water Management District selected BCI to assist with the assessment, design, and construction supervision of hydrological restoration of District-owned lands.
BCI services to date include floodplain and hydrologic modeling; wetland restoration and alteration assessment; edaphic factors assessment; flood impact evaluation (off-site); cost-benefit analysis of restoration alternatives; GIS mapping of historic wetlands, wetland impacts, wetland benefits; value-added engineering ($400,000+ savings measures identified so far); and preliminary design of more than 1,000 acres of wetland restoration.
