BCI’s Geotechnical Engineering & Mining team specializes in the design, inspection, and remediation of dams, reservoirs, and water control structures. As home to one of the nation’s most renowned earth dam experts, we are frequently called upon to assess dam integrity. Our team has a broad understanding of all the relevant factors and issues that govern practical dam and reservoir design, construction, and rehabilitation.
Our geotechnical engineering professionals can assist you with a wide range of projects requiring extensive knowledge of local soil, rock, and groundwater conditions. This includes compaction grouting, deep dynamic compaction, dredging projects, pavement analysis, and many other areas of expertise.
Since our initial entrance into the mining industry more than 30 years ago researching phosphatic clay, our skilled team of mining experts can support your mining projects from initial planning and design to closure and reclamation. Our in-house staff can provide services including minerals beneficiation and process engineering. In addition, all mining staff maintain MSHA and OSHA HAZWOPER certifications.
BCI provides a wide range of services to support all phases of a project from preliminary design through completion of the construction process.
