 BCI was hired by Furr & Wegman to provide civil site design and permitting services for a 150-unit affordable housing project consisting of 76 one-bedroom and 74 two-bedroom units. BCI prepared a compact, underground drainage system layout and prepared site plans for submission to regulatory agencies that included site grading, signs, ingress/egress, pavement design, and water, sewer, and drainage system designs.
BCI obtained an Environmental Resource Permit (ERP) from the Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD), Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) permits, Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) access connection closure and drainage connection permits, a National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) construction permit, and submitted a site plan and site construction application to the City of Lakeland.
