The Hilton Garden Inn is a 105-room hotel located at the Lakeland Linder Regional Airport. The hotel design includes 5,000 square feet of meeting space, an observation deck overlooking the airport runway, a full-service restaurant, and an outdoor pool.
BCI was retained to provide civil site design and permitting services. BCI incorporated civil design elements into the client’s conceptual and prepared a site plan for submission to regulatory agencies containing site grading; signs; ingress/egress points; pavement design; and water, sewer, and drainage system designs. Permit applications were submitted to the Southwest Florida Water Management District for an Environmental Resource Permit (ERP), Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for a drainage permit, the City of Lakeland for site plan approval, and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP).
